JOB DESCRIPTION

This role is responsible for researching and presenting tailored financial plans to individuals and commercial organisations. Whilst an Advisor may have or develop a specific area of expertise, the company provides solutions for, but not limited to, retirement planning, protection, investments, mortgages and insurance. Customer contact levels are high to ensure their immediate needs are met and their changing circumstances understood and perfectly catered for.

Advisors are free to manage their own timetables to best suit their clients and themselves. There is no predictable formula that guarantees success, however local knowledge is key and training is given in this regard. The Advisors are given real choice about how they organise themselves and balance home and work, with the given that activity is paramount. Advisors are required to keep the CRM system up-to-date and work to our clients paperless environment needs, but otherwise there is adequate scope to develop their own working week. Office support is provided to ensure customer time is kept to a maximum and administration to a minimum.

This is a high profile role with a high degree of interaction with a very wide audience. Regular networking is an important part of the job and the Advisor is expected to keep abreast of current economic conditions and market regulations to settle into the appropriate target groups. Networking is very much encouraged, as it is a reliable driver of new business, so the ability to artfully socialise would be of benefit.

EXPERIENCE
Preferred candidates for this role will already hold a full diploma qualification; however for the right candidate, appropriate qualifications can be obtained on the job. It is important that the candidate is able to understand and offer holistic financial planning.

This position will suit somebody already working independently with a substantial value of assets under management, however wants to be part of something bigger with better rewards, better support and better opportunities. It will also suit individuals currently employed by a financial institute as potentially a bank assurance advisor, but recognises that their individuality, hard work and success deserve better rewards.

The ideal candidates is highly motivated and suitably qualified with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Our clients have a proven track record that Advisors will enjoy a realistic OTE, for a diploma qualified individual, of £60k - £100k per annum (potentially tax free). The open-ended nature of earnings for the self-employed Advisor means it may also be a good deal better than that, certainly as relationships and individual reputations build. This opportunity will perfectly suit the individual who wants a direct relationship between hard work and reward.

Working hours are infinitely variable and down to the Advisor to dictate, allowing for the fact reward is directly related to effort and hard work. Direction is available to optimise each Advisors  skill and ongoing development and review is part of our clients DNA. It is expected that all candidates successfully complete a one week in-house training course, supported by regular visitations by third party interests.
